A teacher has a special spot in every child's heart

I just want to tell you that you are a special teacher and to me you're number one.

Water park

For February break I went to Boyne mountain with my friends.  Boyne mountain is a place to ski or snowboard.  I snowboarded because everybody else was, and I did not want to take lessons by myself.  I saw my friend from school at Boyne mountain, one day I saw her at snow tubing.  We rented a condo by the mountains.  Their was a hotel right down the street that we could get breakfast at.  Their was a water park there too.  The first place I went to had a mat to sit on and you slid right down a very steep water slide.  Another water slide I went was on a purple one, and it was very dark so it had lights on the side of it.  I also went  to the swimming pool.  Then I went on a water slide that you had to have a tube to go down.  The water slide was very dark until their was a funnel.   You went round and round then dropped down the funnel on to another water slide.  Then you turned and landed into the lazy river.  One more water slide I went on had a red and green light to tell you when to go and not go.  When I went down it was super dark, but then their was little lights on the side of the water slide.  After that you looped outside then came back in. Then you did one more turn, finally the water slide was over.  After all those water slides I went to the water play structure.  At the water play structure their is a big bucket of water, the water bucket tips every minute.  Everybody waits at the bottom for the bucket to tip.  Also at the water play structure their is a bridge to cross to get too the purple water slide.  One more thing at the water play structure is a sea-saw.  If one person sits on one end and another person sits on the other end and you get the sea-saw moving, water will come out of the middle.  The water park was really fun I hope I get to go again.

Field trip

I went on a field trip to Lansing with the whole third grade.  The first place we went was the capital building.  In the capital building we got to see the governor's office.  We also found out that the tiles had fossils in them.  After the capital building we went to a museum.  At the museum we did a scavenger hunt with our group.  On the scavenger hunt we went thru a classroom that showed what it was like to be in school back then.  The scavenger hunt took a long time.  On the scavenger hunt we had to go thru a very dark cave.  There was also another place that showed what your kitchen would have looked like, it was so small.  One more thing their was is a hall with native american stuff.   There was real animal fur that you could touch.  I had a really fun time.

fun day

 I went bowling at a fancy place with my cousins, I had lots of fun.  My cousin Avery won the first round, and my cousin Chelsea won the second round.  In the first round I got three spares in a row, in the second round I got two spares but they were not in a row.  I saw friends from school at bowling, they are in my grade.  After bowling we went to get ice cream, I got a orange and vanilla twist, it was so yummy. That was really fun I hope I can do it again.

I went rock climbing, it was so fun.  When we first got to the rock climbing place Planet rock, they said that my dad had to take a 45 minute class about safety.  My dad was taking the 45 minute class because the first time you go you have to take it.  We were so board,but then a guy that works there said he would give us something to do.  He taught us how to put the harness on, then he let us go and rock climb,but my mom had to be watching.  My dads class took way longer then 45 minutes, it took like a hour twenty minutes.  I was so glad I did not have to wait in the room the whole time.  When my dad finished the class we rock climbed some more.  I made it up the wall seven times.  Rock climbing is fun I hope I can come again!   

Red wings game

I went to the Red Wings game, it was so fun.  I won a pizza box, and if you take it to the pizza stand they will fill it up for free.  The Red Wings did really bad in the first period, the other team got two goals and we got zero.  There where no goals in the second period by either team.  In the first period  break our friend Ryan played a mini game.  In the third period, the Red Wings scored with four minutes left in the period, everybody was so loud and exited.  The Red wings won the game 3-2.  Then when we left, it took like forty five minutes just to get out of the parking garage. When we finally got out of the parking garage, it took forty five minutes to get home.

Polar Bears

I have done a lot  of research on polar bears and why they are endangered and how we can help.

The first thing that makes polar bears endangered is global warming.  Global warming is when all of the ice melts because of greenhouse gases.  This is bad because polar bears hunt  on the ice so polar bears are starving.  Greenhouse gases are caused by cars and other objects.  Greenhouse gases are gases that send bad things into the environment.

Poachers are also threatening polar bears and they are killing them for fur and meat.  

You can save polar bears by driving less,  also unplug your phone if not using charger.
